These Terms of Service describe the basic terms that apply to Golden Gate Lifeguard's private-event lifeguard services. The sections below are placeholders meant to be a reasonable starting point.
Our service
We provide professional supervision of the water zone at private events. Our lifeguards focus on watching the water. This service is not swim instruction, childcare, or general event supervision.
Booking and confirmation
Submitting a quote request does not confirm a booking. A request is confirmed only after we have reviewed it and accepted it, and after any booking requirements have been met.
Host responsibilities
The host remains responsible for the property, guest behavior, supervision outside the water, alcohol, pets, and safe overall event conditions. Parents and guardians remain responsible for their children outside the water.
Cancellation policy
[Placeholder] Cancellation timeframes, notice requirements, and any fees will be described here. A qualified attorney should help finalize these terms.
Safety cancellation and stop-swim authority
Your lifeguard may pause or end water activity, or decline or stop service, when conditions are unsafe — for example during severe weather, overcrowding, poor visibility, or unsafe behavior. This stop-swim authority exists to protect everyone at your event.
Insurance
[Placeholder] Insurance details are available upon request. Event insurance may be required for certain bookings. Specific requirements will be confirmed as part of your booking.
Limitation of liability
[Placeholder] This section limits our liability to the extent permitted by law and should be drafted by a qualified attorney before you rely on it.
